Jones is expected to undergo surgery to stabilize his high ankle sprain, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Jones suffered the injury in late August. He'll finish the year with a .238/.356/.431 slash line in 99 games for Triple-A Columbus. He homered 13 times and stole 10 bases but also struck out 30.0 percent of the time. He's expected to be ready to go by spring training.
