Mets' Pete Alonso: Blasts 12th homer

Alonso went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Thursday's win over the Phillies.

Alonso initiated a Mets comeback with a solo shot to left field in the sixth inning. While his .215 average and .754 OPS are considerable dropoffs from his 2019 Rookie of the Year campaign, Alonso does rank in the top 10 among National League hitters with 12 long balls on the season.
