Hosmer went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 7-5 win over the Diamondbacks.

Hosmer went deep off Matt Peacock in the seventh inning to extend the Padres' lead to five runs. In addition, he was intentionally walked in the ninth inning. It was his first home run since Aug. 9. The 31-year-old is slashing .268/.336/.390 with 11 long balls, 56 RBI, 47 runs and five steals in 474 plate appearances.
