Reds' Bubba Thompson: Optioned to Triple-A

The Reds optioned Thompson to Triple-A Louisville on Wednesday, Gordon Wittenmyer of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Thompson has slashed .353/.421/.471 this spring but wasn't able to break into the Reds' crowded outfield. He'll play regularly at Louisville, with most of those starts likely to come in center field.
