Reds' Josh Osich: Blows lead in eighth

Osich allowed a game-tying homer to the Cubs' Willson Contreras in Monday's loss. He has now blown leads in two of his last three outings and allowed at least one run to score in four of his last five appearances.

That Osich was asked to pitch the eighth inning in the first place speaks volumes about the status of the Reds' bullpen right now. With this outing, his ERA climbed to 5.02, and he has served up four homers in 14.1 innings.
