Reds' Rocky Gale: Joining Reds camp

Gale signed a minor-league contract with Cincinnati on Friday that includes an invitation to spring training.

Gale spent last year with the Dodgers but never made it past the team's taxi squad. Organizational depth seems to be the most fitting role for the 32-year-old backstop, as he's appeared in just 22 career MLB games, hitting .108/.108/.189.
