Royals' Mike Minor: Tosses seven strong frames

Minor (3-2) earned the win Saturday against the White Sox after tossing seven innings of one-run ball, allowing two hits and two walks while fanning seven.

Minor had been struggling through most of the season and was coming off three straight outings allowing three or more runs, so this was certainly a step in the right direction. The veteran lefty will try to build on this performance when he takes the ball next week at home against the Tigers.
