Meadows went 1-for-2 with a triple, three walks and two runs scored in Friday's win over the White Sox.

Batting second in his team debut, Meadows reached base four times and helped spark the Detroit offense. The outfielder has seen his batting average slump the past few seasons after he hit .291 in 2019, but he's still found ways to be effective. Last year with Tampa Bay, he recorded 27 home runs and 106 RBI, and he should have plenty of chances to produce with the Tigers.
