Jaylen Johnson: Selected eighth by Motor City

Johnson was selected by the Cruise with the eighth overall in the 2021 G League Draft.

Johnson last appeared in a G League contest during the 2019-20 campaign, when he logged 33 games for Iowa. He averaged 7.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists over 16.5 minutes per game during that season and has found a new home in Detroit.
