Rahim Moore: Released by Texans

The Texans released Moore on Thursday, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports.

A free-agent splash just one year ago, Moore quickly fell out of favor in the Texans' defensive backfield and didn't make an appearance after Week 7. Finishing with 16 tackles (10 solo) and one interception, the 26-year-old could find a role elsewhere next season, but a contract in the ballpark of the one agreed to in 2015 (three years, $12 million) is no doubt out of the question.
