Hunter (shoulder) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Cowboys.
Hunter was initially deemed questionable to return, but the Vikings decided to hold him out for the rest of the night during halftime. He will have a week to rest and recover before the Vikings' Week 9 matchup with the Ravens.
