Capitals' Michael Sgarbossa: Hershey bound

Sgarbossa was placed on waivers by the Capitals on Friday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Sgarbossa is in the second-year of a two-way contract. He had four goals and three assists in 25 regular-season games with Washington last year, while accumulating seven goals and 43 points in 44 AHL contests during the regular season.
