Mete was summoned from AHL Toronto on Tuesday.
Mete has split time between the NHL and AHL this season. He has one assist, two shots on goal, six blocks and one hit in five appearances with the Leafs. Mete will be an option to play Wednesday against New Jersey after Toronto put Morgan Rielly (knee) on the long-term injured reserve list Tuesday.
