Dan Jennings diagnosed with concussion

Marlins reliever Dan Jennings underwent a CT scan, which came back negative. According to the Sun Sentinel, he was diagnosed with a concussion after taking a liner to left side of the head from the bat of Jordy Mercer in the seventh inning on Thursday. Jennings will stay in a local Pittsburgh hospital overnight for further observation.
