Cardinals David Freese went 0 for 4 in Wednesday's loss to the Mets, ending a 20-game hitting streak and was the longest in the majors this season.
Freese was hitting .209/.287/.242 on May 16, which was his last hitless performance before Wednesday, but is now hitting .281/.353/.380 with three home runs and 20 RBI in 171 at-bats.
