Mets third baseman David Wright is feeling soreness after his own bat struck him on the back of the head and neck in Wednesday's loss to the Braves, ESPN reports. The bat broke on the swing but stayed connected and struck him on the follow-through.
Wright stayed in and completed the game, going 0 for 4.
