Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez, who is attempting to play through the pain of a rib fracture, took batting and fielding practice prior to Monday's Game 3 of the National League Championship Series against the Cardinals from Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Times reports. 

Ramirez looked fluid and moved well at shortstop and blasted some pitches during an aggressive batting practice session. Ramirez went to full extension during the BP and really let things go as he proved he was ready to get the start for Dodgers manager Don Mattingly in the game against the Cardinals.
