The Indians have placed center fielder Michael Bourn on the 15-day disabled list due to a "mild to moderate" hamstring strain, which was revealed by an MRI. The club has announced that he's expected to miss three to four weeks.
As a corresponding move, the Indians have called up outfilelder Tyler Holt from Triple-A Columbus.
Bourn, 31, is hitting .267/.316/.379 (97 OPS+) with nine doubles, seven triples, three homers, 37 runs scored and seven steals this season.
This marks the second DL stint with a hamstring issue this season for Bourn, as he missed the first 13 games of the season with the same injury.
