Report: Royals considering addding Kendrys Morales

CBSSports.com Baseball Insider Jon Heyman reports that the Royals are considering signing free agent first baseman/designated hitter Kendrys Morales in order to add a spark to their offense. At this point, there have been no serious conversations between the two sides, according to the Kansas City Star.

The Royals own a .305 on-base percentage, which ranks 24th in the majors. Morales hit .277/.336/.449 with 23 home runs and 80 RBI in 602 at-bats last season in Seattle.
