Astros pitcher Scott Feldman took a loss Tuesday after giving up eight runs (three earned) on nine hits and two walks in four-plus innings while striking out four in his team's 9-3 loss to the Angels.

Feldman (2-2) couldn't get into a rhythm Tuesday, pitching just one clean inning through his first four frames. He would have had a 1-2-3 first inning if not for an error that led two three runs after two walks and two singles. Feldman put two men on with a double and a single in the fifth then watched one come home on an error. He was then removed, and the two runners left on base also came around to score.

After giving up five unearned runs Tuesday, Feldman owns a 3.02 ERA and 22:12 K:BB ratio in 41 2/3 innings. He's slated to face the Mariners Sunday.
