Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish sustained a cut on his right thumb in his last start, but he doesn't see it as an issue heading into Wednesday's scheduled start against the Mariners, FOXSports.com reports.
"Even when I was throwing it didn't hurt me," Darvish said. "I've done this so many teams that probably the nerve isn't working anymore so it didn't hurt me at all."
Darvish was bleeding visibly in Friday's start after cutting his thumb with his index finger. He's pitched 15 scoreless innings over two starts while striking out 15 and walking two.
