Orioles closer Zach Britton picked up his 34th save Tuesday, giving up a hit and a walk but pitching a scoreless ninth inning in his team's 4-1 win over the Red Sox.

Britton needed 23 pitches to get through the outing, but he was able to rebound with a successful conversion after suffering a blown save on an unearned run in his previous outing. Britton owns a 1.79 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 57:20 K:BB ratio in 70 1/3 innings.
