Greene went 3-for-4 with a walk, two doubles, two RBI and two runs scored in Thursday's 10-9 win over the Royals.
Greene was batting just .211 through the first 10 games of the season, but he's starting to get going with a .313 average across his last nine contests. The three-hit effort was also the first of the year for the talented outfielder. Greene was an All-Star starter during a breakout 2025 campaign in which he posted 36 home runs and 111 RBI during the regular season, and he should have more big games ahead of him in 2026.

Tigers' Riley Greene: Launches first homer
Greene went 2-for-4 with a walk, a home run, two runs scored and four RBI in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Marlins.
Getting a partial breather at DH, Greene carried the Tigers' offense and supplied the biggest hit of the afternoon, a three-run blast in the third inning off Janson Junk. It was Greene's first long ball of the year, and through 15 games he sports a .228/.323/.351 slash line with four doubles, one steal, nine runs and 10 RBI.

Greene went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Friday's 4-0 win over the Cardinals.
Friday was Greene's second multi-hit effort of the year, and he's now slashing .241/.290/.345 through seven games. He has three doubles but has yet to go deep after recording a career-best 36 home runs during the regular season in 2025. The power should come for Greene, and he's locked into a premium spot in Detroit's lineup, so plenty of RBI should follow as well.

Greene went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's Grapefruit League contest against the Red Sox.
Greene connected for his first home run of the exhibition slate in the second inning against veteran Boston starter Sonny Gray. The talented young outfielder is working on some small mechanical tweaks to his swing in camp, and he's yet to fully hit his stride with a .222 batting average across eight Grapefruit League games, though he is sporting a decent .777 OPS. Spring results shouldn't matter too much for Greene, who's coming off a 2025 regular season in which he tallied a career-high 36 home runs and 111 RBI to lead Detroit's offensive attack.

Tigers' Riley Greene: Focused on improved contact in 2026
After setting a franchise record for strikeouts last season, Greene is focused on making more consistent contact in 2026, Jason Beck of MLB.com reports.
On balance, Greene had a productive 2025 campaign, as he set new career highs with 36 home runs, 84 runs scored and 111 RBI over 157 regular-season games. He also had a career-worst 30.7 percent strikeout rate and saw his batting average (.258) and OBP (.313) dip from 2024. The talented outfielder said he may have been too focused on going deep, so he's going to try to be more selective and take what the pitcher gives him. He may also implement some small mechanical tweaks to his swing. The tradeoff could mean a drop in homers for Greene this year, but the 25-year-old remains a top fantasy target, and there's still room for growth in his game.

Tigers' Riley Greene: Nets $5 million for 2026
Greene agreed to a one-year, $5 million contract with the Tigers on Thursday, avoiding arbitration, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Greene receives a nice raise for 2026 in his first year of arbitration eligibility. The outfielder set career highs with 36 home runs, 111 RBI and 84 runs in 157 regular-season games in 2025, though he also had a career-worst 30.7 percent strikeout rate.
