Diamondbacks' Jason Pridie: Returns to States, inks minor league deal
Pridie signed a minor league contract with the Diamondbacks on Friday.
Pridie spent 2016 in Japan with the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. He has not played in more than 10 major league games in any season besides 2011, and is a career .216 hitter in the big leagues. At 33, he'll most likely serve as organizational depth for Arizona.

The 31-year-old had limited time in the big leagues in 2015, going 0-for-9 in his brief stint. He'll now spend at least the 2016 season overseas.
