Brandan Wright making steady progress

Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle said Friday that Brandan Wright, who is recovering from shoulder surgery, has stepped up his activity as of late, working on 5-on-0 drills. However, he has yet to be cleared for contact and does not have an official timetable for a return, according to the team's official website.

"Hopefully I can work towards contact at the earliest at the end of next week," Wright said.
