Lakers small forward Nick Young suffered a left peroneal tendong strain in Wednesday's game against the Blazers and will not return, the team announced.
Peroneal tendons are located outside the ankle behind the fibula. Young appeared to roll his ankle late in the third quarter and headed to the locker room to be checked out. His night comes to a close with nine points on 4 of 12 shooting, including 0 of 4 shooting from behind the arc, as well as two rebounds in 14 minutes off the bench.
