Ty Lawson set to return Friday vs. Utah

Nuggets guard Ty Lawson returned to practice on Thursday and will likely be available to return Friday night against the Jazz. Lawson was limited toward the end of practice for precautionary reasons but told the team's official website that he felt no pain in his left hamstring.

"It felt good," Lawson said. "I'll see if it gets sore tonight or (Friday) and make a decision."

Lawson suffered the injury on Dec. 6 against the Celtics, causing him to miss two straight games. He was averaging 19.3 points, 8.0 assists and 3.7 rebounds per game this season.
