Bears wide receiver Alshon Jeffery became the first receiver in franchise history to record more than one 200-yard receiving performance in a single season when he totaled a franchise-best 249 yards during a 23-20 overtime loss Week 13 at Minnesota. Jeffery beat his own franchise record, which he set in Week 5 against the Saints with 218 yards.

Jeffery was very active from the get-go Sunday. He had seven catches for 89 yards before halftime, which were the highest first-half totals of Jeffery's career. But he really came to life in the third quarter for Chicago.

On the Bears' second play of the third quarter, Jeffery had an 80-yard catch-and-run touchdown -- the longest score of his career. The Bears put Jeffery in the slot, Josh McCown dropped a perfectly placed pass over the defender, and Jeffery did the rest as he broke one tackle and sped away from the defense.

Jeffery wasn't done scoring in the third quarter. He came back later in the quarter to post a 46-yard touchdown, which is the second-longest touchdown of his career. It was probably even more impressive than the first touchdown. Jeffery made a beautiful two-handed catch over the defender at the 2-yard line and his momentum carried him into the end zone for his second score.

Sunday marked the first multi-touchdown game of Jeffery's career and he finished with a career-high 12 catches. The Bears are back in action Week 14 vs. Dallas.
