Calvin Johnson posts second-highest receiving yards total
Calvin Johnson posted the second-highest receiving yards total in NFL history on Sunday.
Calvin Johnson's pretty good eh? Megatron, in a week where he was poked and prodded by Dez Bryant about who can do what on the field, went out and posted the second-most receiving yards in a single game against the Cowboys.
Johnson caught 14 passes for 329 yards, leaving him 7 yards shy of the NFL record set by Flipper Anderson in 1989.
Megatron becomes the fifth player in NFL history to go over 300 yards in a single game, joining Anderson, Stephone Paige, Jim Benton and Cloyce Box.
Two of Johnson's catches ended up with him being tackled inside the 5-yard line, including the final catch of the day that pushed him into the second-highest total.
It also led to a Matthew Stafford sneak touchdown that put the Lions up 31-30 in one of the best games we've seen this season.
