Jets running back Chris Ivory said he was going to treat Sunday's game against the Saints -- his former team -- as just another game. Well, he sured looked like he had something to prove in a 26-20 upset win Week 9.

Ivory rushed for 139 yards -- the second-highest total in his career -- and one touchdown on 18 carries. Ivory's career high was set in 2010 with the Saints, as he rushed for 158 yards in a 31-6 win at Tampa Bay.

Ivory wasted little time making an impact. On his second carry in the first quarter he rushed for 27 yards. He didn't get his next carry until early in the second quarter, but Ivory rushed for 52 yards the next time he touched the football. Ivory added one more long carry -- a 30-yard run to end the third quarter.

Ivory's ninth career rushing touchdown -- first this season -- came on a 3-yard run in the second quarter.

Ivory has surpassed 100 rushing yards in two of the last three games. The Jets are on a bye Week 10 before returning to action Week 11 at Buffalo.
