Injury opens up a spot for Rishard Matthews

Dolphins wide receiver Rishard Matthews saw extensive action in Week 8 against the Patriots, after Brandon Gibson went down with a knee injury.

Mathews was targeted six times for three catches, totaling 30 yards. He now has eight catches for 93 yards on the season.

Matthews could continue to see a larger role in the offense moving forward, as Gibson's injury seems significant. The Dolphins face the Bengals in Week 9 Thursday.
