Kenbrell Thompkins with solid preseason opener

Patriots wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins led his team with four grabs Friday during the preseason opener against Philadelphia.

Thompkins caught four balls for 23 yards in the game. He was targeted five times.

There have been reports that Thompkins has consistently been a big playmaker in practice and has shown his vertical skills in the passing game. He and quarterback Tom Brady have been on the same page to this point.
