Patriots running back Stevan Ridley bounced back from his third lost fumble this season to pound in a 1-yard touchdown at Carolina, giving him seven rushing scores in the last five games. It was the second straight game in which he lost a fumble and ran for a touchdown.
Ridlley sat out 18 straight plays after his fumble while LeGarrette Blount handled the load. Ridley finished with 13 carries for 48 yards, his lowest rushing total since Week 5.
Fumbling remains a big issue for Ridley, who's coughed it up eight times since the last game of 2011. But he continues to capitalize on goal-line chances. Ridley plays Denver in Week 12.
