Torrey Smith announces he's leaving Ravens
Receiver Torrey Smith announced he will not return to the Ravens in 2015.
Smith penned a blog on his personal website revealing that he will not sign a second contract with the club that selected him in the second round of the 2011 draft.
"I will be playing for a different organization, but I will remain committed to the City of Baltimore," Smith wrote. "I will continue to give back and help build a better future for our young men and women. MY COMMITMENT TO THE CITY IS FOR LIFE. This isn’t a goodbye because I will still be around and Baltimore will continue to be my home in the offseason and when my career is done. I’m on to the next chapter of my life and football career, but I will see you guys later."
Smith's time in Baltimore comes to an end with 213 catches for 3,591 yards and 30 touchdowns. He logged one 1,000-yard plus season in 2013. He recorded a single-season best 11 touchdowns in 2014.
