Wright was summoned from AHL Ontario on Thursday, according to John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio.

  • Kings' Jared Wright: Gets two goals in AHL return

Wright scored twice in AHL Ontario's 4-1 win over Tucson on Wednesday.

Wright was demoted from the Kings' roster earlier in the day, but he looks motivated to work his way back to the NHL. The 23-year-old reached the 30-point mark in the AHL with this effort, a mark he reached in 54 contests. Wright made his NHL debut Monday, and even if he doesn't get back to the big club this season, he should get a long look in the fall during training camp.

He'll be available for Ontario during Wednesday's game against Tucson, but it's not yet clear whether he'll rejoin the NHL club in the near future. • Kings' Jared Wright: Recalled by Los Angeles

Wright was recalled from AHL Ontario on Monday.

Wright signed an entry-level contract with the Kings in April of 2025 but hasn't yet made his NHL debut. Across 53 appearances with Ontario this year, Wright has recorded 15 goals, 13 assists, 11 PIM and a plus-25 rating.
