Diamondbacks' Chris Ellis: Back in affilated ball

Ellis signed a minor-league contract with the Diamondbacks on Thursday.

Ellis sat out the 2023 season with a shoulder injury and was set to pitch independent ball to begin 2024. He'll presumably report to Triple-A Reno and will serve as non-roster depth for the time being.
