Dodgers' Chase Utley: Hits bench versus lefty Friday

Utley is not in the lineup Friday against the Giants, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

With southpaw Derek Holland taking the hill for San Francisco, Utley will retreat to the bench to avoid a lefty-on-lefty matchup. Austin Barnes will man the keystone in his stead.
