Rumbelow was released by the Mets on Thursday, Michael Mayer of Metsmerizedonline.com reports.

The 28-year-old righty logged a 5.97 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 33:12 K:BB in 34.2 MLB innings across parts of three seasons with the Yankees and Mariners. He was one of 39 minor leaguers the Mets released.
