Nets' Sean Kilpatrick: Finalizing two-year deal

Kilpatrick is closing in on a two-year deal with the Nets, The Vertical reports.

Kilpatrick is currently playing on his second 10-day contract, meaning that once it expires the Nets will either have to release him or sign him for the rest of the season. It looks as though they'll go with the latter option, inking Kilpatrick to a two-year deal that's expected to be fully guaranteed for the 2016-17 season. Since signing with the Nets, the 26-year-old Kilpatrick is averaging 11.9 points and 1.6 rebounds in 19.0 minutes per game (eight games).
