Brooks will come off the bench Tuesday against the Lakers, Adam Wexler of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
Brooks started in eight of his past 10 games for the Rockets but will return to the bench with Kevin Porter (thigh) and Jalen Green (hamstring) returning to action Tuesday. Brooks should still be a significant piece of the rotation but should have a reduced role going forward.
