Maple Leafs' Marshall Rifai: Sent down for conditioning

Rifai (wrist) was reassigned to AHL Toronto on a conditioning assignment Thursday.

Rifai has yet to get into a game this year, but he would appear to be progressing with his stint in the minors. The Marlies play against AHL Belleville on Saturday and Sunday, so it's possible that Rifai will be recalled ahead of the Maple Leafs' clash with Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
