Diamondbacks starting pitcher Jeremy Hellickson struck out seven batters and picked up his fifth win of the year against the Padres on Sunday.

Hellickson threw six innings, allowed six hits and just two earned runs before leaving the game.

"That's always a big part of keeping the pitch count down and getting early outs," Hellickson said. "Everything's feeling good right now, I'm able to throw strikes with all three of my pitches. I've just got to keep doing that."

Hellickson (5-4) has a 4.94 ERA with 62 strikeouts and 24 walks in 78 1/3 innings this season.
