Mets third baseman David Wright resumed baseball activities on Monday as expected, doing everything but swinging a bat, Newsday reports.
Wright was placed on the disabled list with a strained hamstring in mid-April and has also dealt with a back issue during his rehab. General manager Sandy Alderson called the hamstring a "nonissue" at this point, so the third baseman is being limited by the back injury.
Wright's 11 for 33 with a home run and four RBI.
