Cubs catcher Miguel Montero has once again settled into an offensive funk after it appeared he was ready to break out earlier in June.
Montero homered four times and drove in nine runs in his first 10 games in June. However, since hitting his last home run on June 13, he is batting just .189 (7 for 37) with no extra-base hits and no RBI in his last 12 games (nine starts). He also has one run, three walks and 14 strikeouts in that span.
