Pirates catcher Russell Martin was ejected from Monday's game against the Braves for arguing balls and strikes while catching. Manager Clint Hurdle was ejected soon after.

Martin and starting pitcher A.J. Burnett seemed to have problems with pitches being balls during the fourth inning, and it led to Martin's ejection, his first since September 2011, per MLB.com.

Martin was 0 for 2 before exiting, dropping his batting average to .250.
