Cardinals wide receiver John Brown broke free for a late touchdown in Week 8, giving him his best performance of the season.
Brown was on pace for another unremarkable game deep in the fourth quarter, as he had 44 yards on four catches at the two-minute warning. He made up for that with one play, however, his 75-yard, game-winning touchdown late in the fourth.
Brown has lived on big plays this season, with just two double-digit Fantasy-point efforts in seven games. Basically, when he finds the end zone, Brown has value, but has done little else to stand out.
Still, Brown is second on the team in targets over the last three games, with 11 receptions for 203 yards in that span. If you are desperate for help at receiver, it might make sense to look at him on waivers just in case he can turn this into something big.
