Former Pittsburgh Penguins player and current owner Mario Lemieux turned 47 on Friday. Here's our latest random flashback that takes a look at what was arguably the greatest single-game performance of his Hall of Fame career (and one that will likely never be duplicated): scoring five goals, five different ways -- even-strength, power play, shorthanded, penalty shot, and empty net.

It took place on Dec. 31, 1988, against the New Jersey Devils as part of an 8-6 win. Not only did he score five goals, he also assisted on Pittsburgh's other three that night.
