  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Out of action

Mrazek (undisclosed) won't suit up Tuesday versus the Flyers, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports. Mrazek will miss at least one game with the injury. Lukas Dostal is starting Tuesday while Ville Husso serves as backup. Mrazek's status for the remainder of the Ducks' road trip is unclear at this time.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Sustains injury against Washington

Head coach Joel Quenneville said that Mrazek (undisclosed) was injured during Monday's 7-4 loss to the Capitals, per Tom Gulitti of NHL.com. Mrazek was replaced in goal by Lukas Dostal for the start of the third period in the defeat. Mrazek missed a few weeks in December due to a lower-body problem, but it's currently unclear if the reason he left Monday's game was a result of an aggravation of his previous injury. If Mrazek is forced to miss any upcoming games, it wouldn't be surprising to see Ville Husso elevated from the minors. The Ducks will continue their road trip in the second half of a back-to-back Tuesday in Philadelphia.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Gets starting nod Monday

Mrazek will be between the pipes on the road against the Capitals on Monday, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports. Mrazek will take the first game of the Ducks' back-to-back, which means fantasy managers can expect to see Lukas Dostal in the crease on the road versus Philadelphia on Tuesday. The veteran Mrazek has appeared in just two of the Ducks' last 16 contests, going 0-1-0 with five goals allowed on 22 shots. Given his infrequent usage, Mrazek is unlikely to offer much in the way of fantasy value.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Takes loss in relief appearance

Mrazek allowed a goal on four shots in relief of Lukas Dostal in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Sharks. Mrazek ended up stuck with the loss after allowing a third-period goal to Zack Ostapchuk. Over two relief outings since returning from a lower-body injury, Mrazek has allowed five goals on 22 shots. He hasn't done enough to push the struggling Dostal for playing time, and if both goalies continue to falter, Ville Husso could get a look in the crease for the Ducks. Looking ahead, the Ducks' next game is Wednesday versus the Lightning, but it's not yet clear which goalie will get the nod for that one.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Makes return in relief outing

Mrazek stopped 14 of 18 shots in relief of Lukas Dostal in Friday's 8-3 loss to the Stars. This was Mrazek's first appearance since he suffered a lower-body injury that ultimately cost him about two weeks. He likely would have been in line to start Saturday versus the Blue Jackets, but a 45:41 relief appearance Friday may change the Ducks' plans. Mrazek remains at 3-3-0 through eight appearances, and he's added a 3.85 GAA and an .868 save percentage this season. If his performance continues to be poor, the Ducks might turn to Ville Husso in the backup role, as he had some positive moments while both Mrazek and Dostal were on the shelf.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Activated off injured reserve

Mrazek (lower body) was activated off injured reserve Thursday. Mrazek spent nearly two weeks on injured reserve due to his lower-body injury, but he's been cleared to return ahead of the Ducks' upcoming back-to-back set, which includes games against Dallas on Friday and against Columbus on Saturday. Mrazek will presumably start in one of those matchups, but he'll likely serve as Lukas Dostal's backup now that the two netminders are healthy.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: On injured reserve

Mrazek (lower body) was put on injured reserve Friday, per the NHL media site. Mrazek is expected to miss the next 2-3 weeks, so this move doesn't impact his timetable. He's 3-3-0 with a 3.69 GAA and an .876 save percentage in seven outings this season. Anaheim is also missing netminder Lukas Dostal (upper body), and the Ducks are expected to lean heavily on Ville Husso for as long as those two goaltenders are injured. Vyacheslav Buteyets is also with Anaheim to serve as the No. 2 goaltender until Dostal or Mrazek return.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Set for 2-3 week absence

Mrazek (lower body) is expected to be out of action for the next 2-3 weeks, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports Wednesday. Mrazek was previously deemed day-to-day, but his new prognosis suggests he is dealing with something more severe. It's been a tough start to the 2025-26 campaign for the 33-year-old Czech, as he is sporting an .876 save percentage to go with a 3-3-0 record. With Lukas Dostal (upper body) on injured reserve, the Ducks will have to ride Ville Husso in the crease for the time being.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Classified as day-to-day

Mrazek (lower body) was deemed day-to-day Monday, according to Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune. Mrazek was injured Sunday in Chicago and wasn't in the lineup for Monday's game in St. Louis. Ville Husso got the start versus the Blues, while Vyacheslav Buteyets backed him up after being brought up from AHL San Diego earlier Monday. Considering Mrazek is dealing with a lower-body injury, he shouldn't be expected to be available for Wednesday's game versus the Mammoth, as the team will likely be very cautious with his recovery.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Unavailable Monday

Mrazek (lower body) won't be in the lineup for Monday's road game against St. Louis, per Lou Korac of NHL.com. Mrazek will miss at least one game after being injured in Sunday's 5-3 loss to Chicago. With Mrazek and Lukas Dostal (upper body) unavailable, Ville Husso will start against the Blues on Monday. Following his recall from AHL San Diego, Vyacheslav Buteyets will be the backup.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Injured in Chicago

Mrazek sustained an undisclosed injury during Sunday's game versus the Blackhawks, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times. Mrazek was replaced between the pipes by Ville Husso after getting hurt in the final frame. Prior to getting injured, Mrazek surrendered three goals on 16 shots. The Ducks play in the second half of a back-to-back Monday in St. Louis, so the team might provide an update on the netminder's status in the near future.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Starting in Chicago

Mrazek will guard the road goal against the Blackhawks on Sunday, per the NHL media site. Mrazek has gone 0-3-0 in his last three outings while allowing eight goals on 81 shots. He has stopped 163 of the 185 shots he has faced en route to a 3-3-0 record through six appearances this season. Chicago is tied for ninth in the league with 3.13 goals per game in the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Takes loss against Canucks

Mrazek stopped 23 of 27 shots in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Canucks. The fifth goal was an empty-netter. Mrazek continues to struggle in limited action, though this was his third start in six games. The 33-year-old will likely see an uptick in ice time while Lukas Dostal (upper body) is hurt. Mrazek got some lucky wins earlier in the year but is now 3-3-0 with a 3.69 GAA and an .881 save percentage over six starts. The Ducks' next game is Friday at home versus the Kings.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Set to face Vancouver

Mrazek is expected to start at home against Vancouver on Wednesday, per Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com. Mrazek has a 3-2-0 record, 3.60 GAA and .886 save percentage in five outings this season. He stopped 22 of 25 shots en route to a 3-2 loss to Ottawa in his last start Thursday. Vancouver has a 9-12-2 record and ranks 21st in goals per game with 3.00.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Yields three goals in loss

Mrazek gave up three goals on 25 shots in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Senators. Mrazek has lost his last two starts, but it's hardly his fault with four goals allowed on 54 shots in that span. The 33-year-old kept the Ducks in this one throughout, but Drake Batherson scored with 1:58 left in the third period to decide the game. Mrazek is now 3-2-0 with a 3.60 GAA and an .886 save percentage over five appearances. Lukas Dostal will likely be back between the pipes for Saturday's Pacific Division showdown with the Golden Knights.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Expected to start Thursday

Mrazek is set to start at home against Ottawa on Thursday, per Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune. Mrazek has a 3-1-0 record, 3.72 GAA and .887 save percentage in four outings in 2025-26. He stopped 28 of 29 shots in a 2-0 loss to Minnesota in his last start Saturday. Ottawa has a 9-6-4 record and is tied for eighth in goals per game with 3.26.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Outdueled in Minnesota

Mrazek stopped 28 of 29 shots in Saturday's 2-0 loss to the Wild, with Minnesota's final goal getting scored into an empty net. A Marcus Johansson tally in the first minute of the second period proved to be the only goal either netminder allowed, as Mrazek was simply outdueled by Jesper Wallstedt. It was Mrazek's best performance of the season but also his first loss, as he's 3-1-0 in four starts with a 3.72 GAA and .887 save percentage while backing up Lukas Dostal.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Tending twine Saturday

Mrazek will defend the road net against Minnesota on Saturday, per Michael Russo of The Athletic. Mrazek made 36 saves in a 4-3 overtime win over Vegas last Saturday. He has a 3-0-0 record this season while stopping 90 of the 104 shots he has faced. Minnesota ranks 26th in the league with 2.78 goals per game this campaign.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Claims third win of season

Mrazek stopped 36 of 39 shots in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Golden Knights. Mrazek has allowed 14 goals on 104 shots, but he's still undefeated, albeit two of his three wins have come in overtime. This was his best start of the season, despite a blown two-goal lead in the third period. The 33-year-old needs to get his performance in line so the Ducks don't run Lukas Dostal into the ground early in what's looking like a promising season. Expect Dostal to get the nod versus the Jets on Sunday.

  • Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Starting in Vegas

Mrazek will guard the road goal against the Golden Knights on Saturday, per Jesse Granger of The Athletic. Mrazek has a 2-0-0 record in two appearances this season while allowing 11 goals on 65 shots. He hasn't played much behind Lukas Dostal, and that's a trend that is likely to continue throughout the year. Vegas ranks 11th in the league with 3.31 goals per game this campaign.
