Panthers' Evan Rodrigues: Likely done for season
Rodrigues broke a finger in Thursday's game versus the Wild and is likely done for the season, David Dwork of The Hockey News reports.
It's not yet clear if Rodrigues will require surgery. However, with just three weeks left in the season, he is not expected to return anyway, though his recovery timeline could be longer if surgery is required. Rodrigues will likely be okay by the start of 2026-27, which will be a contract year for the forward. He produced 31 points in 69 outings this season.

Panthers' Evan Rodrigues: Suffers upper-body injury
Rodrigues won't return to Thursday's game against Minnesota after sustaining an upper-body injury.
Rodrigues logged just 49 seconds of ice time before exiting the game. If he can't play Saturday against the Islanders, then the Panthers might need to call up a forward from the minors. However, Sam Reinhart (foot) and Mackie Samoskevich (neck) might both be available Saturday, and if at least one of them can play, then Florida would be able to dress 12 healthy forwards, even if Rodrigues ends up missing the tilt.

Panthers' Evan Rodrigues: Manages two helpers Thursday
Rodrigues logged two assists, including one with the man advantage, and three shots on goal in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Oilers.
Rodrigues was held out of Tuesday's game in Vancouver for an unspecified reason. He was back in the lineup Thursday and snapped a five-game slump with helpers on goals by A.J. Greer and Anton Lundell. Rodrigues is at 30 points, a mark he's reached in five straight campaigns. He's added 155 shots on net, 62 hits, 38 PIM and a minus-15 rating over 66 appearances.

Panthers' Evan Rodrigues: Four points in last four games
Rodrigues scored a goal and added an assist in a 5-1 win over Toronto on Thursday.
The goal came shorthanded; it was the first shortie of his NHL career (604 games). Rodrigues also made it into the franchise record book. He had seven shots in the first period, which was the most by a Florida player in a first period since the great Pavel Bure had nine March 16, 2001. Rodrigues has four points (two goals, two assists) and 20 shots in his last four games.

Panthers' Evan Rodrigues: First goal in 11 games
Rodrigues scored a goal Monday in a 5-3 loss to Buffalo.
It was his first goal in 11 games. Rodrigues is completely overmatched as Florida's top pivot -- Sam Bennett left Monday's game with an upper-body injury, and the kitties are already missing Anton Lundell (upper body), Aleksander Barkov (knee) and Tomas Nosek (knee) down the middle, and Brad Marchand (undisclosed) on the wing. Rodrigues has a point (one goal, one assist) in each of his last two games, but just three assists in the 10 games before Monday.

Rodrigues logged two assists, four shots on goal, two hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks.
Rodrigues logged his first multi-point effort since Dec. 19 versus the Hurricanes. His performance Sunday ended a six-game skid on offense for the center, who has recently moved up to the top line in an effort to spark his offense. Panthers' Evan Rodrigues: Finds twine on power play
Rodrigues scored a power-play goal, placed two shots on net and served two PIM in Saturday's 3-2 win over Ottawa.
Rodrigues lit the lamp on a first-period power play to level the score at 1-1. He now has nine goals, 21 points, 98 shots on net and 46 hits through 44 games this season. After fading to offensive inconsistency over the past month, he has points in back-to-back games for the first time since early December. Centering a middle-six role, the 32-year-old has plenty of time to reach the 30-point mark, which would secure his fourth consecutive campaign above that threshold. With a decent amount of category coverage, Rodrigues has viability in deep fantasy leagues.

Rodrigues scored a goal and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Capitals.
Rodrigues' tally was the 100th of his career, coming in his 564th game. The Panthers have leaned on him for middle-six minutes this year, and he's responded with four goals, five helpers, 41 shots on net, 21 hits and a plus-1 rating over 17 appearances. Panthers' Evan Rodrigues: Provides helper Saturday
Rodrigues had an assist and put two shots on net in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Golden Knights.
Rodrigues picked up a secondary helper on linemate Sam Reinhart's first-period tally. Overall, Rodrigues is up to three assists, five points and 19 shots on net through 10 games this season. It has been an up-and-down experience for him centering the top line, so Rodrigues' value in fantasy is best in deep leagues until he can put together more point streaks, such as the three-game run he had at the beginning of the season.
