Jets' Elias Salomonsson: Brought up from AHL
Salomonsson was recalled from AHL Manitoba on Tuesday.
Salomonsson has supplied six helpers, two PIM and even plus-minus rating over 17 appearances with the Moose in 2025-26. The right-shot blueliner's promotion from the minors might not bode well for Neal Pionk's (lower body) availability Wednesday against the Capitals. Salomonsson has yet to make his NHL debut.

Jets' Elias Salomonsson: Poised to practice Tuesday
Salomonsson (illness) will practice with the non-game group Tuesday.
Salomonsson notched five goals and 27 points in 53 regular-season games for AHL Manitoba in 2024-25. The 21-year-old defender will probably spend most of the upcoming campaign in the minors.

Jets' Elias Salomonsson: Not playing Friday
Salomonsson (illness) will not play Friday in Edmonton, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.
Salomonsson played the entire 2024-25 campaign with AHL Manitoba, tallying five goals and adding 22 assists in 53 contests. The defenseman was selected in the second round, 55th overall, in 2022 and could make his NHL debut this season.

Jets' Elias Salomonsson: Assigned to AHL
Salomonsson was loaned to AHL Manitoba on Monday, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
Salomonsson produced two goals and 11 points in 31 regular-season games with Skelleftea AIK of the SHL in 2023-24. He added one goal and five assists in 16 playoff contests. The 20-year-old defender will get his first taste of North American hockey at the minor-league level, and he could make his NHL debut if he impresses.
